Cake Stands

I have been seeing a lot of homemade cake stands around the blogosphere and at boutiques. When I saw the idea again on  Studio 5 a few weeks back it inspired me to make some of my own. I made a trip to the D.I. and found some fun plates. I bought two candle sticks from the Dollar Store. While there I found some small crystal relish dishes and decided to try them out too. I used E6000 glue to hold it all together. Here is the final results.

Lego Pops

I found a cute website with the idea for these marshmallow Lego pops. I made some for my nephew's birthday. Then a bunch of the adults built a horse stable from the Legos I had as a kid at my mom's house. So much fun sifting through piles of Legos searching for the right piece!
