Froggy Baby Shower

I planned a baby shower for my hubbies sister. We did a frog theme. Here are some highlights. My favorite was the diaper motorcycle

Baby Shower Idea

Instead of wrapping all of the cute outfits for the baby, hang them up for all to see. You can add to it when more outfits are unwrapped. I have a long piece of sheer ribbon and clothespins to hang them up. It makes a cute decoration for your shower.

Thank You Favors

I purchased small bottles of hand washing soap at Target for a dollar to make this project. For the "thank you" sign I used the website What a Lovely Name. This website has the option to type in your own names if they are not on the list. The label for this soap bottle is 2.5" high and 5.5" wide. I left the sides white so that the "thank you" would be square.

You can easily adjust this to any sized bottle. Just measure the circumference with a soft measuring tape and add 1/2 and inch. Then measure the height by measuring the size of the front label that you want to hide.

Diaper Cake

Here is my version of a diaper cake for a baby shower. I used 26 size 2 diapers.

Roll each diaper up and secure with a rubber band. Make two sets of seven rolls and secure with a rubber band around the whole group. Put twelve rolls around one group of seven and secure with a rubber band. (I used a mixed bag that had big and small rubber bands). You will now how two tiers.

I used wrapping paper scraps from the paper used to wrap the presents and made a stip to go around each layer. Add a stuffed animal to the top and it's done. This cake is a lot simpler than a many of the other ones on-line but still really cute.

Water Bottle Favors

These are fun favors that can be made for just about any party. I made mine for a baby shower.

Start with a 10" x 2.5" piece of card stock for the base.
I used a circle cutter to make a 1.5" circle.
Fold the paper 3" from the bottom and 2.5 inches from the top

Staple or use brads to hold the pocket closed
My embelishments were cut using my Cricut machine.
If you want a paper in the pocket glue it on before you close up the pocket
The inside paper is 1.75" x 3"

You will need a 16.9 fl oz water bottle and flavor packet. The packets usually tell you how much water you will need. I choose to use Propel Fitness Water Mix. Put your mix in into the pocket and you are ready to celebrate.
